Our Mission

The purpose of the Edward Hopper Landmark Preservation Foundation is to restore and maintain the birthplace and boyhood home of Edward Hopper (1882-1967), renowned American realist painter whose works appear in museums throughout the world; to serve as a community cultural center with gallery space for artists to display their works in all media; to provide a location for drawing sessions, lectures and dramatic and musical presentations; to preserve Hopper family memorabilia; and to accumulate Hopper archival materials.
