Artists in the Park
This is a wonderful community event that encourages creativity and brings artists and art lovers together for a public dialogue, educational experience, and opportunity to experience first-hand the artistic process at work.
What:
Artists gather to paint en plein air at Memorial Park and other scenic locations in Nyack. The finished, framed works will be auctioned at Hopper House at the end of day. Proceeds of the event will benefit the Hopper House, with the artist receiving 50% of the auction selling price.
When:
We will not be able to host the Artists in the Park event in 2009, but please check back in the future for our 2010 plans.
