Artists in the Park

Artists and the public are invited to the Hopper House's third annual Artist in the Park event on June 7, 2008. This is a wonderful community event that encourages creativity and brings artists and art lovers together for a public dialogue, educational experience, and opportunity to experience first-hand the artistic process at work.

What:

Artists gather to paint en plein air at Memorial Park and other scenic  locations in Nyack.  The finished, framed works will be auctioned at the end of the day under tent overlooking the Hudson River.  The minimum bid will be $75.  Proceeds of the event will benefit the Hopper House, with the artist receiving 50% of the auction selling price.

Date:

Saturday, June 7, 2008.  The event will be held rain or shine.

Location:

Memorial Park, Nyack and other scenic settings in the community.   A list of painting locations will be available to participating artists on the morning of the event.
